DIGITAL LITERACY & STEM EDUCATION
OVERCOMING BARRIERS IN RURAL INDIA
The divide between rural and urban communities in terms of access to and use of digital technology remains a pressing issue, exacerbating socio-economic disparities, and hindering the potential for growth and development in rural India where 65% of our population resides. Addressing this divide is crucial for creating equitable opportunities and integrating the rural economy with the rapidly digitalizing national
& global digital economy.

Recognizing the need to provide our students with equitable access to Digital Skills and the development of a scientific temper for an inclusive future, a structured digital literacy program with STEM-based education is an integral part of the curriculum in our schools & the university. The presence of well equipped Computer labs, Digital Literacy buses, Mini-Science Centers, and Atal Tinkering Labs, makes this possible in all the campuses.
