Prashanthi Balamandira Trust (PBT) was established in 1981 at Chikkaballapur in Karnataka, the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust is an ’Organization in Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since June 2023’. The Trust contributes towards several of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In Education, the Trust manages and operates the 21 Educational Campuses (and an additional 6 Campuses through its allied Trusts) from Grade Six till Doctoral studies.
In Healthcare, the Trust has established a 360-bedded multi-specialty hospital to make quality healthcare accessible for all, without any charges which is also the teaching hospital for the totally free-of-cost medical college.
In Nutrition, the Trust supports the nutrition needs of thousands of children annually, by joining hands with its sister Trust - Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust. All the services and initiatives are absolutely free of all costs to the beneficiaries.
Leaving no one behind by providing the basic necessities of life - free education to children, free nutrition and healthcare to the needy, and to the community that fosters them, without any discrimination what so ever.
Focussed and concerted efforts to revive the Indian way of education, build robust healthcare systems, facilitate healthy nutrition, and work in sectors of social service is the mission of the Trust.
